Freediving Australia: Sydney
Not just another freediving course.
This isn’t a “tick the boxes and leave” kind of course. When you train with us, you join Sydney’s largest and most active freediving community, with access to social dives, trips, pool sessions, and free ocean training.
We’ve trained thousands of freedivers in Sydney, and our community is diving every week. Through our WhatsApp and Facebook groups, you’ll easily connect with dive buddies and explore Sydney underwater.
We dive at some of Sydney’s best locations, with conditions chosen specifically for learning. But that being said, the ocean is…the ocean! Sometimes it doesn’t play ball. Our primary dive site is the stunning Malabar Beach but if it’s going to be rough there then we have back up sites.
Also, if you don’t meet the course requirements straight away, you can return as many times as needed at no extra cost. Everyone progresses differently, and we believe you shouldn’t have to pay twice to complete the same course.
How our courses work: 3 components
-
Theory
The initial theory component where we’ll introduce freediving concepts is run at the Adreno Sydney store iteself! Located at 680 Botany Road, Alexandria NSW 2015.

-
Pool
Each course has a pool training component which takes place just down the road from your theory session at Aquatic Achievers Alexandria 184 Bourke Rd, Alexandria.

-
Ocean
For the ocean component, our primary dive site is Malabar but if the ocean is rough we just head to the protected waters in the harbour near the Spit Bridge.
