Brandon is a freediving instructor, a breath training coach, and occasionally does commentary for freediving World Championships. He discovered freediving right before lockdown and used that time to learn as much as he could about freediving and breath training. He puts his experience in business and event management towards making Deep Weeks as awesome as they can be and is always happy to sit down for a long conversation about everything freediving related!

Igor has been freediving for as long as he can remember. Since he was 3 years old, his father taught him how to dive in Ukraine in lakes, rivers and the Black Sea. After moving to Australia he was trained and certified as a freediving instructor by Adam Stern. Now he shares his knowledge and passion with anyone who'd like to learn more. For him, freediving is not about numbers, but about the way we feel and perceive ourselves.

Lived in Australia most his life, Hao’s freediving journey started from jumping out of his corporate life and dived into breath-work then quickly led him to freediving. Freediving not only taught him how to build up awareness also accepting and letting go. He prioritises safety and focuses on technics and developing personalised plans to progress. With a Chinese background, Hao can teach in Mandarine.

Mitch has grown up loving the ocean and diving for the past 15 years, over this time he has been an avid spearfisher and underwater photographer. Mitch became a freediving instructor to help people experience the joys of the ocean, while focusing heavily on safety and having fun.

Artur grew up in Poland surrounded by nature and loved spending time in forests and lakes. When he moved to Australia, he discovered freediving, which opened up a whole new world of possibilities and gave him a new level of confidence and freedom. Being an engineer by trade, he loves the science behind this sport and helping people solve problems. His goal as an instructor is to inspire students to find their own path in their freediving journey.

Growing up on Magnetic Island, FNQ, Dominique has been exploring and falling in love with the ocean from a young age. Discovering the sport or she would describe it as “the practice” of freediving became a natural progression, she has since become a Molchanovs freediving instructor and professional mermaid. She competed with the global school of merpeople at the World Mermaid Championships.

Brett Davison

Brett found spearfishing and freediving at a very young age and was hooked instantly. He started working for a Dive shop on the beautiful Central Coast when he was 18 years old and he expanded his diving from then and never stopped. His freediving helped him explore the mind and body fixing injuries and healing old trauma, finding great peace and connection to the world around us and himself.

Amber Bourke

Amber Bourke grew up snorkeling the coastlines and islands around Australia and has been teaching freediving since 2013. She especially enjoys diving without fins and holds the current Australian records for both CNF and DNF. Amber enjoys traveling and competing in freediving competitions however she originally got into freediving just to spend more time underwater looking at fish. She struggled a lot with equalisation when she started Freediving and loves to help students overcome their own challenges.

Darons’ approach to freediving is based on his 3 symbiotic pillars of development: safety, relaxation, and fun. Utilising attributes of patience, persistence, and an energetic growth mindset, he supports his students to achieve their purpose for taking up freediving with years of experience as a freediving instructor. Daron has also competed at the Australian National Pool and Pan Pacific Pool Championships.

Neil has spent most of his adult life enjoying the underwater environment. After years of teaching scuba, he learned to freedive in Melbourne, and quickly found how this simple sport can improve so many aspects of life. Neil trains regularly in the pool with Melbourne Freedivers Club and in Lake Purrumbete, as well as heading overseas for even greater depth training.

Moon became a freediving instructor so he could on his spare time, share the passion and love for the ocean with water enthusiasts, or help overcome the perceived barriers.

Mitch spent a majority of his life outdoors and continued his passion for nature by becoming a freediving instructor with Adam Stern.
Mitch has since spent 6 months teaching freediving on a remote island in the Philippines, as well as depth training all over Asia to compete for Australia in freediving competitions. He has been lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the world’s best divers and would love to share these learnings with you.

Ying started his diving career as a scuba diver. The start of his freediving journey was super hard. He was stuck with equalization for a year and half, almost gave up mid-way, but finally made it by just keep on trying. For him, freediving is not just a sport, it’s a way of life. He has been spearfishing for a couple of years, and is able to customize or advise gear based on people’s different conditions.
