We dive from a boat for our dive sessions. We depart from Queenscliff or Portsea for 2 boat dives inside the bay.

WAVE 1 - Beginner Freediving

Learn the amazing skills that will unlock the ocean for you. You’ll be shocked at what you can achieve. You’ll be amazed at how easy it all feels. Absolutely anyone can join! This is where freediving begins!

WAVE 2 - Advanced Freediving
3 - days $695
Train your body for greater freediving performances. When the right tactics and approach is used the human body is capable of truly spectacular dives. This is where you take your diving to the next level!

WAVE 3 - Master Freediving
7 - days $1175
Learn advanced relaxation and equalisation techniques. These allow you to achieve maximum performance in your dives and breath holds. This is the highest level recreational freediving course in the world.

Spearfishing 1 day
Learn everything you need to be a confident spearo! How to handle your equipment, what fish are good to eat and how to identify them, hunting/stalking techniques and everything you need to stay safe while spearfishing. On this 1 day course you spend the morning learning everything above then you’ll hop in the water with all your gear and our instructor will take you spearfishing. Besides being an amazing life tool…it will be fun!

Spearfishing 2 days
On the 2 day spearfishing course we cover everything that we cover on our one day course except we also include comprehensive freediving instruction as well. Our aim is to improve your freediving as much as possible so you feel comfortable underwater, diving to depth with ease as you are hunting. For those who really want to immerse themselves in spearfishing this 2 day course will be for you!

MEET OUR MELBOURNE INSTRUCTORS

HAO
Lived in Australia most his life, Hao’s freediving journey started from jumping out of his corporate life and dived into breath-work then quickly led him to freediving. Freediving not only taught him how to build up awareness also accepting and letting go. He prioritises safety and focuses on technics and developing personalised plans to progress. With a Chinese background, Hao can teach in Mandarine.

ANDRE
Discovered freediving while traveling which dramatically changed the course of his life. He dedicated the following years to sport and education. Was training and teaching in Egypt, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia. Aiming to live a sustainable lifestyle he started spearfishing a few years ago.

YING
Ying started his diving career as a scuba diver. The start of his freediving journey was super hard. He was stuck with equalization for a year and half, almost gave up mid-way, but finally made it by just keep on trying. For him, freediving is not just a sport, it’s a way of life. He has been spearfishing for a couple of years, and is able to customize or advise gear based on people’s different conditions.

NEIL
Neil has spent most of his adult life enjoying the underwater environment. After years of teaching scuba, he learned to freedive in Melbourne, and quickly found how this simple sport can improve so many aspects of life. Neil trains regularly in the pool with Melbourne Freedivers Club and in Lake Purrumbete, as well as heading overseas for even greater depth training.

Gear hire is included free of charge in all our courses. Our hire gear is all high quality freediving equipment. It makes a big difference!

All of our courses are Molchanovs courses. Once you finish your course and complete all the requirements you will receive a certification.

If you don’t pass the performance requirements during the course you can come back and dive with us unlimited times until you do! You have 1 year to complete the requirements of the course.

DO NOT scuba dive 24 hours before freediving.
DO NOT dive if you are congested.
DO NOT have a heavy breakfast before your dives.
DO NOT have any coffee or energetic drinks before your dives.

You need to be at least 16 years old (with a parental/guardian's signed consent).
You need to bring your Medical & Liability Release forms signed and completed before starting the course.
For each level, there are specific prerequisites that you can check above.

The minimum amount of students we can take per course is 3 pax. So if you and your family or friends would like to have a private course (and you’re more than 3 pax), then we can definitely arrange a date exclusively for you.
