What is Deep Week?
Deep Week is a one-of-a-kind experience! There is no other event like this!
It is the world's premier Freediving Education Event and the worlds largest freediving festival.
Deep Week brings the best freedivers, freediving instructors and experts from all over the world, to one spectacular place.
A whole week where we can share knowledge and improve our learning.
The training at Deep Week is suitable for all levels.
We get many absolute beginners joining the event all the way up to freediving instructors wanting to up skill and freediving competitors seeking to improve their knowledge and technique.
No other freediving camp is able to offer this level of experience and expertise… Or fun! Join the Freediving Family and learn to dive safely while you make new friends from all over the world.
Freediving in beautiful Amed
Deep Week Bali will be taking place in Amed, a sleepy fishing village that sits under the impressive view of Mount Agung in North East Bali.
Amed became famous for being epicentre for freediving so it's no surprise to find one of the most amazing spots in the world here!
Amed is only a 3-hour drive distance from Bali’s international airport in Denpasar.
Marianna Gillespie Is BACK!!!
7 Time World Record Holder and current World Record Holder in Bifins and owner of Kalamata Freedivers will be joining us to lead workshops and teach you some of her secrets during this amazing week in Bali!

The Workshops
Everyday our instructors will hold a variety of workshops on different freediving topics.
You are welcome to attend as many or as few activities as you like and choose which workshops to at tend based on your interests.
During the workshop times, there will be three different workshops that will run simultaneously that you can choose from.
We have some of the best freedivers and athletes joining us and sharing their knowledge.

The Activities
During Deep Week, we will dive every day. Wednesday is your Rest Day.
We will also hold pool sessions, static sessions and all the Wave theory sessions needed to complete your course.
We also hold free yoga, meditation and strength & conditioning classes each day.
Nothing at the event is compulsory. You’re welcome to all the activities and free to do as much or as little as you like.

5.30pm – Meditation or Strength & Conditioning Training

Accommodation and getting around in Amed
Every diver should arrange for their own accommodation for Deep Week. We'll give you with a handy list of all the options you can choose from.
It's worth mentioning that there are a wide range of accommodation. We recommend booking your accommodation as close as Blue Earth as possible.
We do encourage you to arrive no later than the afternoon of the 19th as we kick off bright and early the morning of the 20th and look at booking your departure starting on the 28th since we throw a banger party the night of the 27th!
Apneista is the Freediving School from where we will swim every day to start our training dive.
Our Sunrise Yoga Sessions will be conducted in a beautiful Yoga Shala with view to Mount Agung. Yes, you will do yoga every day with this stunning view!
The Venue
Blue Earth Village will be our main space in where we will run the event. It is a social and educational hub.
Blue Earth offers accommodation in 8 incredible bedrooms, specially designed, Bali's first 2 meter deep by 25 meters freediving pool (from recycled shipping containers), and one of the most popular restaurants in Amed!
Blue Earth has a restaurant with vegan and vegetarian food included.

If you want to have a week of line training, workshops, pool sessions and meet amazing people, then yes!
It doesn’t matter which is your freediving level. In Deep Week we have students that range from beginner to advanced. You can take a Wave Course during the week or just join us for training and the experience itself. -
All of our courses are Molchanovs Courses.

Your partner is welcome to join you and participate in our morning yoga, meditation or afternoon HIIT sessions. They can visit Amed while you’re out in the water.

The price includes all workshops, training and certification costs. Staff, set-up and facilities to run the event are covered by your ticket.
Deep Week does not include accommodation, travel expenses, visa fees, COVID tests, meals or gear hire.

For any circumstances that prevent you from coming to the event, we offer to transfer your payment (deposit or full payment) to a future event in 2023 if you give us at least 30 days notice before the start of the event.
