The Molchanovs Instructor Course (W2I) is where you transition from student to teacher.
The focus shifts away from your own dives and toward learning how to guide, support, and inspire others safely in the water.
As an instructor, you become the centre of your own freediving community and play an important role in shaping people’s experience with the sport. This course is designed to give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to teach freediving effectively and responsibly.

In order to apply for your Molchanovs Wave2I Course, you will need to be certified as a Molchanovs Wave 3 freediver (or equivalent) and be of an appropriate character.

Please note that this course is designed to teach you how to teach, not how to reach these performance requirements. You are expected to be able to achieve the above requirements before beginning the course.
Hybrid course structure:
Online theory + In-water sessions.
This Instructor Course is delivered through a combination of online theory sessions and in-person practical training. We’ve found this format creates a more effective learning experience, giving you time to absorb the material, self-study, and develop your own teaching style without the pressure of an intensive back-to-back schedule.
The online component also provides flexibility while allowing you to progress through the theory at a steady pace before completing the in-water teaching and performance requirements in Kalamata after Deep Week Greece concludes.
This structure also gives you the opportunity to join Deep Week Greece beforehand — training alongside experienced instructors and instructor trainers, improving your own diving, and gaining insight into how high-level educators teach and work with students.
