Our Students share about Deep Week

“Adam is the bomb! I have never seen anyone 'pay it forward' more than him. So generous with his advice and experience.

His regular free dive camps 'Deep Week' are a life changing revelation. He brings world champions to teach anyone from all levels from Beginners to Advanced.

It's like learning F1 from Lewis Hamilton, golf from Tiger Woods or cooking by Jamie Oliver. NEVER miss a chance to dive/train/learn with Adam!”

— Dean Laffan

Deep Week's world class locations

  • Deep Week Philippines

Deep Week Philippines happens in Panglao, an island in the north of Bohol Sea.

There are schools of sardines right out front of the Resort where we train.

On the rest day we will run a trip to Balicasag Island, a beautifully preserved marine park with stunning coral and marine life. If you see less than 20 turtles in your dive there it was a bad day!

The warm waters, white sand, beautiful corals and amazing visibility are just something you will experience every day.

Our workshops, yoga and mobility sessions will be held at the Almira Resort, from where we dive each day.

You can also explore Panglao’s famous Chocolate Hills.

  • Deep Week Bali

Deep Week Bali takes place in the small diving town of Amed. Amed is about a 3 hours taxi drive from Denpasar airport. Amed is Balinese paradise. Coconuts, blue water, and nestled underneath the volcano Mount Agung.

We dive off the beach in Bali’s best bay for freediving. You will love the ease of access to the buoys and also being able to sit and enjoy delicious vegan food while on the beach.

There are three stunning wrecks in the area that we will visit on day 4 of Deep Week. The USAT Liberty Wreck, The Pacha Wreck and the Japanese Wreck. There are also stunning coral reefs and beautiful blue water with 20–30m visibility.

You can also join a manta trip or enjoy blue water spearfishing.

  • Deep Week Croatia

    Deep Week Croatia

Rogoznica is small village on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. It’s the training hub of many world class freedivers including Goran Colak.

We get 100m+ depth a short swim from shore and at the time of year we are going we can expect crystal clear waters with temperatures between 26 – 28 degrees Celsius.

The current will be absolutely minimal- there are few places on earth that offer conditions this good for improving a persons diving.

Rogoznica is a small town and it’s easy to walk anywhere. We will be using several classrooms centred around the Rogoznica marina. We will run our workshops and seminars here and also our yoga and meditation.

  • Deep Week Bahamas

Deep Week Bahamas is run in the worlds deepest blue hole, Dean’s Blue Hole. This is without question the best freediving location on the planet and destination that every freediver must make a pilgrimage to. Today almost every single freediving world record was set here.

Just a 10 metre swim from shore is a 200 metre deep blue hole. There is no current. There are no waves. There are no distractions. Just you and your dives.

Deep Week Bahamas is the most advanced Deep Week on our calendar. We are able to offer the highest level of training at this location and that is what we do. Every Deep Weeker at some point in time in their lives must make it to Deep Week Bahamas.

  • Deep Week Mt Gambier

Mt Gambier is home to some of the most spectacular dive sites in the world! There are literally dozens of sinkholes that you’ll be able to explore during the week!

The training however takes place in two specific sites:

Kilsby Sinkhole. One of the most incredible dive spots in Australia if not the world! It’s a 27m deep fresh water sinkhole with endless visibility.

Ela Elap. A 42m deep sinkhole that provides the best deep diving conditions in Australia. Besides the perfect conditions and access to depth there is also a huge willow tree at the bottom and crystal clear visibility.

During the trip we will be staying at the Old Mount Gambier Gaol. It is literally an old gaol that has now been converted to accommodation.

  • Deep Week Thailand

Deep Week Thailand is run in Phuket, where the waters are blue, the beaches are sandy and the food is spicy! Besides being a spectacular place to visit Phuket also has world class freediving conditions.

A short boat ride from Phuket gets us to a number of small islands where we can dive in deep and protected waters. We will have access to 60m depth each day and if you need more…we can find it!

We will be diving from large power boats that are each capable of taking 30 divers. So what I’m getting at here is that you will be comfortable and you won’t get sea sick!

What your day will look like

Everyday our instructors will hold a variety of workshops on different freediving topics. You are welcome to attend as many or as few activities as you like and choose which workshops to attend based on your interests.
