We went for the first time in 2023 and absolutely fell in love with this amazing island! We were so keen to go again that we started planning the 2024 event before we even left the island! Join us for our second trip to Xiaoliuqiu!
Xiaoliuqiu or (Lambai Island) is well-known in Taiwan for its easy access to calm, deep water, wrecks and insane amount of turtles!
We can guarantee that you will swim with several turltes during the week!
We have wanted to run a Deep Week in Taiwan for years and now we’re finally doing it. Lambai Island is also covered with stunning reef and an abundance of marine life.
If you’re coming to Deep Week from Taiwan then you don't have to travel far to experience something extraordinary. The island is easily accessible and just a few hours from the Taipei.

Adam is known as one of the leading names in the freediving world for his exploits. He's not just an athlete, but also a leading educator in this sport. He is one of the founders and creators of the Molchanovs Education System.

Freediving in Taiwan
Deep Week is perfect for freedivers of all levels. From absolute beginners all the way up to instructors and competitors wanting to improve their diving.
Lambai Island is well-known for its unique diving spots, and we're excited to take you on a fun filled freediving journey there!
From shore we get access to 30 metres depth in calm conditions. For deeper dives we get access to 60m depth just a short boat ride away.
Our large boats can accommodate up to 40 divers and, if you know anything about Deep Week, you know we like to have dance parties on our boats! Be prepared!
Besides the dive sessions we will hold workshops every day on just about every freediving topic imaginable where you'll have the opportunity to learn from some of the best instructors in the world including our special guests.

Certifications
Deep Week is much more than a freediving course but we do offer Molchanovs Freediving certification during the week.
If you currently don’t have any freediving certification you can complete your Wave 1 and your Wave 2 course during Deep Week.
If you’ve completed your Wave 1 course (or equivalent) you can complete your Wave 2 course and part of your Wave 3 course.
If you’ve completed your Wave 2 course (or equivalent) you can complete your Wave 3 course.
If you have taken your Wave 3 course (or equivalent) then you'll be able to complete the highest level of freediving certification, the Wave 4 course.

Your daily schedule will look similar to this:
Yoga 7am–8am
Morning Workshop: 8:30am - 9:30am
Diving Session - 10am-1pm
Afternoon workshop 3.30pm–5pm
Meditation 5.30pm–6pm
Family Dinner 7pm
Nothing at Deep Week is compulsory and you are welcome to come to as much or as little as you like!

To ensure your booking is confirmed, please provide a $9,000 NTD ($440 AUD) non-refundable deposit. The remaining amount can be paid 6 weeks prior to the start date of Deep Week. Of course! Deep Week is the perfect place to begin your freediving journey. Instead of a rushed freediving course you will have 8 days to learn all the theory/techniques and apply them slowly over many dive sessions. You will be amazed at what you’re capable of by the end of the week.

The price includes all workshops, training and certification costs.
Staff, set-up and facilities to run the event are covered by your ticket.
Deep Week does not include accommodation, travel expenses, visa fees, COVID tests, meals or gear hire.

For any circumstances that prevent you from coming to the event, we offer to transfer your payment (deposit or full payment) to a future event in 2023 if you give us at least a 30 days’ notice. We cannot issue refunds.

Nothing at Deep Week is compulsory and you are welcome to come to do as much or as little as you like!
You want to do yoga but don’t feel like doing meditation? Not a problem.
You’ve never done meditation but you’re curious about it? Give it a try!
The activities are thought to keep everyone interested and motivated, but if you feel like resting and just enjoying your time off, by all means, do it!
Rest is as important as activity and during Deep Week we want you to enjoy your time as much as possible!

You don’t need to do anything to join Deep Week, just show up!
The only requirement is that you’re comfortable in the water and can swim unassisted for 200mts in a pool setting. So basically, if you can swim comfortably (no need to be Michael Phelps) you’re all good.

You can pay an initial deposit to secure your spot and later on pay the remainder balance.
With no deposit, there is no booking confirmed.
As soon as you book in, you will receive an email with a button that says “Pay Remainder Balance”. You can click that button anytime you like.
We ask the full payment to be covered six weeks before the start of the event.
You can also choose to pay in full from the very first moment.
