The freediving instructor course (W2I) is where you transition to becoming a freediving professional and a teacher. It's not about you anymore or your dives. It's about your students.

This course for us carries a lot of weight because as an instructor, you will be the centre of your own freediving community and responsible to making freediving an incredible experience for others! You will carry the torch!

The Instructor Course is focused on how to teach freediving. It is not simply the next level of course and there is little focus on progressing your own freediving skills. Join us from 1-10th of May in Amed, Bali to become a Molchanovs Instructor!

Location

  • Amed became famous for being epicentre for freediving so it's no surprise to find one of the most amazing spots in the world here!

    Amed, a sleepy fishing village that sits under the impressive view of Mount Agung in North East Bali.

    It’s located only a 3-hour drive distance from Bali’s international airport in Denpasar.

  • We will be holding the theory at Apneista Freediving School. Every diver should arrange for their own accommodation for the duration of the course. We'll give you with a handy list of all the options you can choose from.

    It's worth mentioning that there are a wide range of accommodation. We recommend booking your accommodation as close as Apneista as possible.

Wave 2 Instructor Requirements

  • In order to apply for your Molchanovs Wave2I Course, you will need to be certified as a Molchanovs Wave 3 freediver (or equivalent) and be of an appropriate character. You will also need a First Aid / CPR valid certificate.

  • - 40m CWTB & FIM

    - 30m CNF

    - 25m rescue + 50m surface tow

    - 100m pool DYN

    - 60m DNF

    - 4 min STA

    - 15m Stand-by rescue (min. 60s)

    - CO2 Dive 25m

    You have 1 year to complete all requirements.
